Behind the SCENES WITH Astrata.

E-commerce product photography for listing on Amazon.

Assignment :

It was an absolute delight to welcome Astrata Health Solutions back into the studio. Astrata has been a regular customer since early 2018, and we periodically take all their e-commerce product images as they expand their product range.

Highlight :

The arrangement with Astrata is that I organise all aspects for the shoot including the hire of wheelchairs and other mobility devices for the shoot.

As the products are showcased on wheelchairs some of the angles for the photoshoot are awkward. The trick to this photoshoot was to re-produce angles and compositions similar to what I have taken previously. Fortunately, I still had in storage some of the props that had been used previously giving the Astrata product range a seamless and consistent presentation over time.

Tips for clients selling on Amazon

• Professionally photographed and retouched images are an absolute must for clients looking to sell on the highly competitive market place of Amazon.
• Forming a long term relationship with a photographer is beneficial. With each shoot, the photographer gets to understand your products and how they perform under certain studio conditions, also as your business grows and product range expands it is much easier for a photographer to re-create those shots for the new elements of the range than a different photographer trying to work our how it was done.
